DUE TO THE SITUATION IN VALÈNCIA CAUSED BY THE DANA STORM, THE EXCISS CONGRESS IS POSTPONED TO 20, 21 AND 22 FEBRUARY 2025

On behalf of the Congress Organizing Committee, we wish to extend our deepest solidarity and support to all those affected by the recent DANA storm. We are deeply saddened by the loss of life, the scale of the catastrophe, and the vulnerable situation of those impacted.

Given these circumstances and following recommendations from the Valencian Government and the Universitat Politècnica de València, the Committee has decided to postpone the Congress to the new dates of February 20, 21, and 22, 2025.

In addition to the date change, this situation will necessitate some inevitable adjustments to the Congress program. These changes aim to incorporate the most recent developments, current discussions, and emerging ideas related to the actions taken in response to this extraordinary situation, thereby enriching our perspective on cultural heritage conservation and restoration in times of crisis.

Furthermore, the registration period will be extended, and our cancellation policy will be made more flexible to ensure that those who need to modify their registration due to the new dates will not be adversely affected.

We are confident that this gathering will be a valuable forum for reflection and learning, addressing the challenges facing cultural heritage and particularly resonant in the current context.

We greatly appreciate your support and trust in this event, and we look forward to collaborating with you in protecting our heritage in these complex times.
